Wedding add-on

Wedding dress and groom attire in Gibraltar

We open the doors of our bridal and menswear suppliers in Gibraltar, La Línea, Sotogrande and Marbella, drive you there, translate, and follow the fittings through to the final press before the ceremony.

How the service works

Curated boutiques, real appointments

We book private appointments with bridal boutiques and menswear tailors we actually work with — designer gowns, made-to-measure, off-the-rack and rental suits — instead of leaving you to cold-call shops in a language you may not speak.

Fittings and alterations managed

First fitting, second fitting, final fitting: we schedule them around your travel dates, accompany you, translate with the seamstress, and chase the workshop so nothing slips in the last fortnight before the wedding.

Steaming, storage and delivery

The gown is steamed, hung and stored in a cool room, then delivered to your hotel or villa on the morning of the wedding, with the suit, shoes and accessories checked against a written list.

Buying a wedding dress abroad is the part couples most often get wrong. Boutiques on the Costa del Sol work by appointment, some order gowns four to six months ahead, and alterations are almost always charged and scheduled separately. We plan the whole sequence backwards from your ceremony date: when to choose, when to order, when to fit, and when the dress must be finished and in Gibraltar.

For the bride, we arrange a shopping day with two or three boutiques matched to your style and budget — classic, bohemian, minimal, or a Spanish designer label — with a driver so you are not carrying garment bags between towns in the heat. For the groom and the wedding party, we work with tailors for made-to-measure suits, linen and lightweight wool for summer weddings, morning dress where the ceremony calls for it, and rental options for guests who do not want to buy.

Everything is confirmed in writing: boutique names, appointment times, prices, deposit terms, alteration costs and the final collection date. On the wedding morning our coordinator checks the full look — dress, veil, shoes, suit, shirt, tie, cufflinks, buttonholes — so nothing is discovered missing an hour before the Registry Office.

Common questions

Can you take us to bridal shops if we only arrive a few days before?

Yes, but only off-the-rack or rental options are realistic at that point. Made-to-measure gowns and suits usually need three to six months, plus fitting time.

Do you accompany us and translate?

Yes. Your coordinator attends the appointments and translates between English, French and Spanish so measurements, prices and deadlines are never misunderstood.

Can you organise the groom's suit as well?

Yes — made-to-measure or rental suits for the groom, best man, fathers and groomsmen, including shirts, shoes and accessories.

Who handles alterations and where?

We use seamstresses and tailors in Gibraltar and the immediate Spanish area, book each fitting around your travel and follow up with the workshop until the garment is finished.

Can the dress be steamed and delivered to our hotel?

Yes. We steam it, store it hanging in a cool room and deliver it on the wedding morning with the rest of the look.
